North Down Ards Wastewater Treatment Works

A new state of the art Wastewater Treatment facility for North Down/Ards is being constructed on the High Bangor Road, Donaghadee.

The fully enclosed treatment facility has been designed in sympathy with the surrounding landform and will use landscaping to further enhance its appearance and setting. When completed, it will serve 110,000 people in the area.  Work on the facility commenced in February 2006 and is scheduled for completion by December 2007.
