The safety of all our employees, customers, sub-contractors and all other stakeholders is at the centre of everything we do. Both Veolia Water UK and Laing O'Rourke have firmly embedded safety cultures, which have resulted in class-leading safety records. Glen Water is committed to maintaining safety at the forefront of all activities.
To date nearly 500,000 man hours of work have been completed across the North Down/Ards Project without a single reportable accident.
The company recently won an Infrastructure Excellence Award for its commitment and dedication to set new standards in Health and Safety in Northern Ireland.
Efforts to encourage subcontractors to aspire to the same exacting standards were also recognised alongside a number of initiatives to ensure all workers returned home from work every day fit and healthy.
